What Are The Ingredients For Chicken Chow Mein Recipe?The ingredients for Chicken Chow Mein are: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or pork chops work great too!)4-5 large onions, cut into large pieces 1 -28oz can La Choy Stir Fry Vegetables 1 tbsp corn starch Brown Rice (cooked according to directions) Chow Mein Noodles Low Sodium Soy Sauce How Do I Make Chicken Chow Mein?Here is how you make Chicken Chow Mein: Place chicken breasts in a pot or dutch oven, add just enough water to cover chicken. Bring water and chicken to a boil until chicken is cooked through. Remove chicken from pot and allow to cool (DO NOT pour out water). Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and return to pot with water still in it. Add vegetables and then top with onions. Add 3-5 dashes of soy sauce and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until onions are cooked down. In a small cup or bowl mix 1 heaping tablespoon of corn starch with a small amount of water, mix thoroughly, and then pour into chow mein mixture. Stir chow mein until cornstarch mixture thickens the chow mein.
