2 cups shredded chicken breast
1 medium onion chopped
1 stalk of celery chopped
1/2 stick of butter
1 8oz pkg cream cheese
Italian bread crumbs
2 pkgs refrigerated crescent rolls
1 pkg Chicken Rice a Roni prepared
1 can cream of chicken soup
3/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 tsp poultry seasoning


How Do I Make Chicken Rolls and Rice?

Here is how you make Chicken Rolls and Rice:

cook chicken, remove and let cool. Meanwhile saute' onion and celery in a tbsp. of butter until transparent. Also prepare Rice a roni. Once chicken is cool, shred or chop finely. Add chicken, onion and celery and cream cheese to a bowl and mix well. Stuff each individual crescent roll with mixture and then roll up to resemble crescent roll. Then roll in melted butter and then roll into Italian bread crumbs. Place on baking sheet and cook according to directions on rolls pkg. mix cream of chicken soup, broth and poultry seasoning in a small pot and bring to boil, then reduce heat to low. When the rolls are completed take them out of the oven. In a casserole dish spread rice on bottom, then add stuffed crescent rolls on top, fitting tightly together. Then pour sauce over the top.
