Approx half an onion or a whole shallot.(Judge yourself).
A little sunflower oil.
1 tbls of mild curry paste(coriander and cumin flavoured if possible).
2 x 18 fl oz. of chicken stock
1/4 lbs of chicken
A couple of handfuls of peas.
Pinch of curry powder.

Here is how you make Rice with chicken and peas.:

1. Slice and dice your onion into small pieces.2. Drizzle a little sunflower oil into either a deep cooking pan or prefferably a saute pan. Cook onions in this until soft.3. Meanwhile heat up chicken stock and pour 18 fl oz of it into a jug when boiling hot.4. Once onions are soft pour rice into pan and stir so that rice, onions and oil is fully mixed.5. Quickly pour chicken stock into rice and stir.6. Pour another 18 fl oz of chicken stock into jug but this time add a tbls of curry paste into it as well and stir thoroughly.7. Quickly pour this mixture into the pan and stir.8. Make sure pan is simmiring, add a pinch of curry powder, mix and then cover the pan.9. Let the pan simmer for 10-15mins. Checking and stirring every so often.10. While rice mixture is simmering dice up some chicken (not too small and not too big) and cook. Also cook some peas. I normally just make some frozen ones.11.
