First, it is cheaper and easier to buy a bag of chicken breasts than to buy them from the butchered meat. However, either works.Heat oven to 450 degrees. Place chicken into a pan with a lip on the sides. Place enough water into the pan just to cover the bottom. This will keep the chicken moist while it cooks. Place 2 pats of butter onto the chicken. Sprinkle garlic onto the chicken. Add desired amount of rosemary, onion powder, oregano, and basil. Cook in oven for about 40 minutes. Because of differences in oven performance, you may have to cook it longer. Make sure to cut the chicken at its thickest to make sure that it is cooked all the way through.
