1 cup, cubes Sweet potato
2 cup Coconut milk (light)
2 cup Chicken stock, home-prepared
1 tbsp Ginger, ground
1 tbsp Turmeric, ground
1 tbsp Canola Oil
2 clove Garlic
2 tsp Ginger Root
1 grams Shallots
1 pepper Hot chile pepers
100 grams Cilantro, raw
2 tbsp Fish Sauce
2 fruit (2" dia) Limes


How Do I Make Burmese Chicken?

Here is how you make Burmese Chicken:

Cut chicken into 1" pieces.Marinate chicken for several hours or overnight in dried ginger, turmeric, coriander and 1 tbs oil.In a food processor, mince garlic, ginger, shallot, dried chile and cilantro.Heat coconut oil, add cubed sweet potato and fry until golden brown, season with salt and remove from pan.Add chicken to pan..saute til beginning to brown....add minced garlic etc to pan, saute...add a few tbs of chicken stock and cook down til softAdd remainder of chicken stock and sweet potatoes and bring to simmer.Simmer soup for 1/2 hour until chicken and sweet potatoes are tender...stir in fish sauce, lime juice and coconut milk, bring back to simmer.
