1/2 large sweet onion, medium dice
1 can condensed reduced fat cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup reduced fat sour cream
1/4 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese
salt, black pepper, garlic powder, poultry seasoning, cayenne pepper to taste
1/4 cup slivered almonds, toasted.

Here is how you make Chicken and Asparagus in Creamy Sauce:

Serves 2-3 (calorie yield based on 3 servings)Cook 1/2 cup Jasmin rice in 3/4 cup unsalted water for 20 minutes. Blanch fresh asparagus in a pot of boiling salted water - 2 minutes for stems, 1 additional minute for tips. Drain. Cook bacon in a large (12") skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and remove grease from skillet. While bacon cooks, thinly slice chicken breasts across the grain (this is easier if the chicken is half-frozen). Add 2 tbsp. oil to skillet used to cook bacon (on medium heat) and saute chopped onion 1-2 minutes until it starts to soften. Add sliced chicken breast and season to taste - i.e. 1/4 tsp each of kosher salt, black pepper, poultry seasoning, garlic powder & cayenne pepper. Saute until cooked half-way through (2-4 minutes). Add canned soup & crumbled bacon to chicken & onions and heat through. Add sour cream, drained asparagus & parmesan cheese, stirring to combine & heat through.
