What Are The Ingredients For Slow-cooker Chicken Adobo Recipe? The ingredients for Slow-cooker Chicken Adobo are: 1 whole Roasting chicken, about 5lbs. (or desired size but this is what calories are based on)1 large onion, chopped 2 large cloves garlic, minced 2 large green peppers 3/4 cup soy sauce 3/4 cup white vinegar 1 t black pepper 1 whole bay leaf 1 T sesame oil (optional) How Do I Make Slow-cooker Chicken Adobo? Here is how you make Slow-cooker Chicken Adobo: Place washed chicken in a crockpot (slowcooker). Add the veggies. Stir the rest of the ingredients together in a bowl, then pour over top of chicken. Cook in crockpot on low for 8-10 hours. Serve over rice (brown rice is the better option), or alone. The chicken will be fall-apart tender, so watch for bones when eating it. I didn't have too much trouble with the bones but that's the warning my mom -in-law gave me. After I served it, I put cooked (previously frozen) mixed vegetables (corn, peas, green beans, carrots) on top to add a little more flavor. They went well with the rice and chicken.Note: If you use sesame oil, keep in mind that you need to count those calories as well. I didn't include it in the nutrition since it is optional. I didn't use any when I cooked it because I didn't have any :)Serving size is based on 4oz. of chicken, since that is the bulk of the dish. The whole chicken = about 80 oz.Number of Servings: 20Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user KDA1981.What's The Nutritional Info For Slow-cooker Chicken Adobo? The nutritional information for Slow-cooker Chicken Adobo is:
