1/4lb pancetta, diced
2 1/4 cups marsala wine
1 cup chicken broth
1/2lb sliced mushrooms
1/2 cup marscapone
3 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped

Here is how you make Slow Cooker Chicken Marsala:

Melt 1.5 tbsp butter and olive oil in skillet. Brown chicken breasts on both sides, approx 5 minutes total. Add shallots and pancetta and saut? over medium-high heat until lightly browned, approx 2-3 minutes. Add 2 cups of the marsala to the pan and raise the heat to high. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the wine is reduced and thickened, approx 7-10 minutes. Add the broth and oregano and return to a boil. Transfer the chicken to a slow cooker and add the marsala mixture over the chicken. Cover and cook until the chicken is opaque throughout and very tender. 2.5 hours on high, or 5 hours on low. About 30 minutes before the chicken is done, melt the remaining butter and olive oil together in a skillet over high heat. Add the mushroom slices and saut? until the edges begin to brown, approx 5 minutes. Stir in the marscapone, bring to a boil, and season generously with salt and pepper. Add the mushroom mixture and the remaining 1/4 cup marsala to the slow cooker. Cover and cook until the chicken is cooked through, and the sauce has thickened, about 20 minutes.
