2 10 oz packages of broccoli
4 while chicken breasts, cooked and sliced
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 cup Lite mayonnaise
1 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp curry powder
1 C shredded cheese
1 C bread crumbs


How Do I Make Carolyn's Chicken Divan?

Here is how you make Carolyn's Chicken Divan:

Combine the soup, mayonnaise, curry and lemon juice. Place broccoli on bottom of 9x13 baking dish. Place chicken on top. Spread soup mixture over top of chicken. Sprinkle top with cheese and bread crumbs.Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Note: I do not always use two whole packages of broccoli. I use what I have on hand.The chicken does not always have to be chicken breast. I have also on occasion substituted other cream soups if I do not have chicken such as cream of mushroom. Sometimes add a chicken cube to add chicken flavor.I use Edam cheese but it can be substituted with other cheeses.Finally, I eat Chicken Divan with or over rice.Number of Servings: 10Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user CAROLYN0107.
