0.5 cup Daisy Light Sour Cream
0.5 cup Kroger Sharp Shredded Cheddar Cheese
.5 tbsp Lemon juice
.5 tsp Curry powder
Salt & pepper to taste ( I also add cajun seasoning to taste)
4 cups Best Choice Broccoli Florets
2 tbsp Land O Lakes light butter with canola oil , melted
.5 cup Panko Bread Crumbs


How Do I Make Chicken Divan Lightened Up!?

Here is how you make Chicken Divan Lightened Up!:

Steam broccoli florets for about 3-4 minutes. Let cool. Mix together sour cream, mayo, chicken soup, lemon juice and curry powder. Add salt and pepper to taste. I also add Tony Chachere's Cajun Seasoning to taste as well. Mix rice, diced chicken, and cooled broccoli florets to baking pan. This recipe is for half the usual amount - so I use a smaller glass rectangular baking pan. Double the amounts if feeding a larger or hungrier group! Pour sauce mixture over and mix until well blended. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes. Add bread crumbs to melted butter and spread over casserole. This is optional - but great flavor! Bake for another 10 minutes or so until lightly browned on top! So yummy! Much less calories than the original full fat version - still a splurge - but great and kid friendly!Serving Size: Serves 4-6 depending on size!
