1 cup carrots diced

1 onion
2 T chicken base

4 oz Egg Noodles


How Do I Make Judi's Homemade Chicken Soup?

Here is how you make Judi's Homemade Chicken Soup:

Put chicken breasts in large pot and cover with water with 2 whole carrots, 2 celery stalks, 1 onion, 1 clove of garlic, salt and pepper. Once Chicken boils add 1 T of chicken base. Boil until chicken is cooked about 30 mins. Strain broth into another pot. Dice carrots, celery, onion and garlic. saute in original pan for 5 minutes. Place chicken aside to cool. Add strained broth on top of vegetables. Shred chicken and add to soup. Bring that to a boil and add 2nd Tabelespoon of chicken base. Let simmer. Meanwhile cook the egg noodles in a separate pot until al dente, strain and add to soup.
