Here is how you make Southern-Style Smothered Chicken:

Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder. Heat oil and Smart Balance in large skillet over medium high heat. Coat each chicken piece with seasoned flour and place in heated oil in skillet in batches. Brown well. Remove chicken from skillet. Place onions in skillet and saute for 3-4 minutes. Place chicken pieces back into skillet. Pour broth over pieces and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cover.
