Ingredients4 teaspoons canola oil, divided1/2 cup minced shallots1/2 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper4 teaspoons minced fresh garlic1 pound ground chicken2 Thai or serrano chiles, minced1 tablespoon fish sauce2 teaspoons dark brown sugar2 teaspoons lower-sodium soy sauce1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper1 cup basil leaves1 tablespoon fresh lime juice4 lime wedgesPreparation1. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add 2 teaspoons oil to pan; swirl to coat. Add shallots; saut? 2 minutes. Add bell pepper; saut? 1 minute. Add garlic; saut? 30 seconds.
