3 apples, peeled and sliced
6 Tablespoons slivered almonds
1/2 c. unsweetened apple juice, or chicken broth
2 sweet yellow onions, peeled and sliced
2 tsp. brown sugar
2 Tbls. butter


How Do I Make Stuffed Chicken Thighs?

Here is how you make Stuffed Chicken Thighs:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Slice apples. Flatten chicken thighs, and stuff each with 1 Tbls. almonds and 2 apple slices. Close thighs with toothpicks. Place remaining apples in bottom of 9" square cake pan or casserole, and top with chicken thighs. Pour juice over chicken and place in oven. Melt butter, and sautee onions, until translucent. Add brown sugar. Place lightly browned onions on top of chicken. Total baking time 1 hour.
