1 (10 1/2-ounce) can low-salt chicken broth

1 1/2 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary

2 bay leaves

3/4 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepper

1 1/2 pounds sweet potatoes potato, cut into 1/4-inch slices

1 cup water

2 teaspoons cornstarch
