4 slices of whole wheat bread, chopped into 1/2 inch
squares
1 tblsp. Country Crock Shed's Spread

Here is how you make sweet and savory stuffed chicken:

Chop bread into 1/2 inch cubes. spread onto a cookie sheet and drizzle about a tablespoon of olive oil all over bread cubes. season cubes with marjoram. Place in broiler to toast bread for about 2 minutes, then give bread a toss and 2 more minutes. KEEP A CLOSE EYE ON YOUR BREAD, or it will end up burnt. Put your toasted bread to the side. Then preheat oven to 350*F.Dice up 1 apple, onion, and 2 stalks of celery. In a 2quart saucepan add 1/2 a tablespoon of Country Crock, Shedd's Spread and saute onion, apple and celery until tender. Meanwhile, cook up 3 strips of bacon and set aside. Then crumble up bacon strips into the sauted apples, celery and onion. Discard excess bacon fat and place greased pan on heat. season chicket with salt and pepper. Sear both sides in the same pan used for the bacon, for about 5 minutes per side. While chicken is cooking add a 1/2 cup of water and a 1/2 tablespoon of Country Crock, Shed's Spread to a 2 quart saucepan and bring to a boil. Stir in apples, onoin, celery, and toasted bread. Cover and remove from heat. Let sit for 5 minutes.Remove chicken from heat and let cool. Slice open a pocket half way into chicken and stuff each chicken.
