Tyson Chicken Breast Tenderloins (frozen), 32 oz (remove)
Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)
*Peppers, sweet, red, fresh, 1 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" (remove)
Garlic, 3 clove (remove)
Granulated Sugar, 2 tsp (remove)
White Wine Vinegar, 5.28 tbsp (remove)
Chicken Boullion Cube, 1 serving (remove)
Cornstarch, .02 cup (remove)
Thyme, fresh, 3 tsp (remove)



How Do I Make Sweet Italian Chicken with Sausage, Peppers and Onions?

Here is how you make Sweet Italian Chicken with Sausage, Peppers and Onions:

Remove casings from sausage, and brown sausage in 1 T oil in an oven-proof 12" skillet. Remove, and add chicken (in batches) until browned on both sides. Remove chicken, and add 2 tsp oil if needed and cook onion and peppers - STIRRING so onion doesn't brown, about 4 minutes. Add garlic & stir for 30 seconds, then add mixture of vinegar, sugar and 3/4 cup chicken broth (from chicken boullion cube dissolved in 1 cup water). Put sausage back in (draining fat) and cover with chicken pieces. Bake at 350 degrees for 18-22 minutes. Meanwhile, combine cornstarch, thyme and 1 T boullion in small bowl. After chicken comes out of oven, remove it & veggies from pan, and stir cornstarch mixture into pan. Simmer 2-3 minutes. Spoon sauce around (not on) chicken.
