1/2 red pepper, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
3 granny smith apples, peeled, cored, chopped
1 cup pineapple juice
1/2 cup rose wine (white would work too)
ground black pepper, cayenne pepper, crushed red pepper (any or all of these to taste)
1 package egg noodles, cooked according to package directions
1/4 cup corn starch, dissolved in 1/4 cup water

Here is how you make Sweet, Sour Chicken with a little heat:

Heat a deep skillet and add meat, onion, and pepper. Add pineapple juice and wine. Bring to a boil and add apples. Add seasoning, reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes. While this is cooking, heat water and prepare noodles. When noodles are just about finished, dissolve cornstarch in 1/4 cup of cold water and stir into the meat and veggie mixture. This will slightly thicken your sauce. If sauce is too thin, make a little more cornstarch mixture and slowly add until thickened enough.
