Here is how you make Chicken Catawba:

Mix flour, paprika, and salt. Coat chicken pieces with mixture. In a large skillet, brown the chicken in hot oil. Add mushrooms, almonds, and wine. Two tsp of chicken bouillon base can be added to the liquid for more flavor. Bring to simmer, cover with a lid, and cook until tender. (Or put chicken and rest of ingredients in a roasting pan. Bake at 350 deg. for 40 minutes, or until tender.) For either method, any remaining flour mixture can be blended with cold water and cooked into the sauce to thicken it.
