Here is how you make Chicken Tikka Masala vegetarian:

Put the oil into a pan over a medium heat. Drain, rinse, pat dry and brown tofu or brown the vegie chicken, set aside When hot, add the cardamom pods. Add the onions and cook while stirring, until brown. Add all of the spices , garlic, cumin, curry, coriander, turmeric, garam masala and chilli and stir. Add the remaining ingredients.
