2 - 15 oz cans of Hunt's Tomatoe Sauce
2 - 14.5 oz cans of Hunt's Diced Tomatoes
1 - 6 oz can of Hunt's Tomatoe Paste
2 - 15.5 cans of Joan of ARC Kidney Beans
1 - lb of ground beef,
1/2 lb. ground Hot Sausage meat
Italian Seasoning to taste (approx. 1/2 Tlbs.)
Mrs. Dash original seasoning. Sprinkle to taste.
Chile powder (approx. 2 Tlbs.) to taste.
Hot sauce if you like it really hot.
2 cups water (I use the tomatoe paste can and fill 3 or 4 times).

I use Red, Dark Red and sometimes Spicy Red Beans for a spicier chile.

Here is how you make Bert's own chile:

Brown meat, onions and celery. Drain off fat. Add all other ingredients except Kidney Beans. Season to your taste. Simmer 2 hours or more. Add Kidney Beans during last 1/2 to 3/4 hour. Serve by itself or over your choice of pasta. Great the 2nd or 3rd day.
