2 Small to Medium Yellow Onions, chopped
29 oz. Can Tomato Sauce
28 oz Can Petite Diced Tomatoes
28 oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
40.5 oz Can Red kidney Beans, drained
15.5 oz Can Black Beans, drained rinsed
15.5 oz Can Great Northern Beans, drained
15 oz Can Golden Corn, drained
28 oz Can Van Camp's Hickory Bacon Baked Beans
9 0z (half a bottle) Kraft Honey BBQ Sauce
1 (2 halves)square Baker's Unsweetened Baking Chocolate, chopped
2 Tsp. Minced Garlic
2 Tbs. Extra Virgin olive oil
3 heaping tsp Dried Basil
3 heaping tsp Dried Oregano
Dash Red Pepper Flakes
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1.25 oz Packet Chili Seasoning Mix
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1 tsp Chipotle Chili Powder
3 tsp Chili Pepper Powder
1/3 Cup Water
3 tsp Chili Powder


How Do I Make Lisa's Cowboy Bbq Chili?

Here is how you make Lisa's Cowboy Bbq Chili:

Brown Ground Turkey and transfer to a large stock pot or slow cooker. In saute pan on low heat , saute onions in olive oil while slowly adding in all seasonings. Add minced garlic..while doing this, you may add up to 1/3 cup of water to prevent sticking, you will have what looks like a thick paste.Remove from heat. Add tomato products to pot or slow cooker with the cooked turkey, mix. Add Kidney Beans, Baked Beans, drained Great Northern Beans, drained Corn, and drained and rinsed black beans, mix. Slowly add in onion and seasonings, mixing well. Let simmer or become bubbly. Add 1/2 a bottle of Honey Bbq Sauce, mix. After this becomes well incorporated and bubbly, slowly add chopped chocolate and mix well to melt. Adjust any seasoning to your temperature liking, and if desired a little brown sugar is also good in this recipe.
