1 large onion, chopped
1 chopped red or green bell pepper
3 sliced Jalapeno pepper - reserve some for topping
2 cups Blue Menu no salt added Chicken Stock
50 grams Splendido Sun Dried Tomatoes - chopped
1 tsp Olive Oil
2 tbsp Chili powder
1 tsp ground Cumin
1 tsp Oregano flakes
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
3 cloves garlic, grated - or use roasted garlic if perferred
2 cups of water
7 cups Blue Menu Stewed Tomatoes
1-1/2 cups Romano beans - dry
1-1/2 cups Red Kidney beans - dry
Chopped green onion (1 bunch)
1 cup Fat Free Sour Cream

Here is how you make Bean and TVP Chili:

Soak beans overnight, then cook for an hour.Pour 2 cups boiling water over 2 cups of TVP and add ketchup and piri piri sauceAdd oil to dutch oven, saute onions, peppers and garlicInto the TVP, sprinkle seasonings and stir with fork. Add TVP to the onions and saute for a few minutes. Stir in Tomatoes and beans and 2 cups of hot chicken stock. Add chopped sundried tomatoes and stir.Cover and simmer for at least 1 hour.
