1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups hot tap water
2 packages ramen noodles (do not add flavor pkg)*
2 Tbsp chili powder
1 15 oz. can red beans, drained
1 15 oz. can diced tomatoes
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

*because you are not adding the seasoning pkg. the sodium count is lower than listed

How Do I Make Chinese Chili?

Here is how you make Chinese Chili:

Brown hamburger and onion, add salt and pepper to taste. After browned, add two packages of ramen noodles, break them up a little (noodles only, no season packet) and 2 cups water. Cover and simmer for 3-5 minutes or until noodles are semi-tender, stirring to break apart noodles. Add chili powder, beans and tomatoes, continue to simmer uncovered until heated though, about 5-10 minutes. Top with cheese and let melt.
