Cincinnati Chili Accidental Recipe
Cincinnati Chili Accidental

I was making chili one night and accidentally added a very heavy shake of ground cinnamon instead of chili pepper. What I created was a chili reminiscent of one I had learned to love when living in Cincinnati. You can serve it over spaghetti or corn chips. Add optional raw onions and shredded cheddar cheese. Or spoon a ladle over hot dogs on buns with or without the onions and cheese. Some people like to add beans. I do not, so I can not suggest the type of bean to use. This recipe freezes well and can be defrosted in a microwave or on the stove top for a quick meal on a night when there is no time for prep. You can control calories, carbohydrates and fat by limiting the extras such as spaghetti, buns, chips and/or cheese.
