How Do I Make Dolly's Winter's Day Chili?

Here is how you make Dolly's Winter's Day Chili:

Season the ground beef with Victorian epicure's pasta seasoning (or another salt and herb mix) after boiled and drained (this removes excess fat).Add all non-meat ingredients into a crock pot or saucepan. Add seasoned ground beef.Place on the low setting on your crockpot or stove and let cook for 6-8hrs in a crockpot. Or hike up the heat to med-low and cook for about 2hrs. Remember, the additional cooking is just for the mix of flavors. Once the ground beef is boiled, it should be mostly cooked. If you feel as if it is, you may proceed just to warm the ingredients and eat. I strongly recommend allowing the chili to simmer, however.I put mine in early in the morning and it's done for me when I get home!Number of Servings: 18Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user NS_SURFERGIRL.
