Add diced onion and peppers; heat a few minutes until peppers begin to soften and onion becomes translucent.Add browned, drained, and rinsed meat and tomato sauce.Drain and lightly rinse kidney beans and add to pot.Add all remaining ingredients; stir well. Let simmer 5 minutes or so to let seasonings begin to merge, then adjust with additional seasonings to your taste.Let simmer on low heat at least 30-minutes.
