1 large yellow onion chopped
2 large stalks of celery chopped
1 green pepper chopped
1 red or orange pepper chopped
1 or 2 hot peppers (by spiciness choice) chopped
4 cubes of beef boullion
1 cup vegetable broth (fat free, sodium free)
1/4 cup chili powder
1 tbspn worcestershire sauce
2 tspns hot sauce
1 tbspn garlic (minced)
1 tspn oregano
1 tspn basil
2 tspns cumin
1 tspn each, salt, pepper
2 tspns sugar

brown the ground turkey and strain out all the oil and juices. place in very large pot and set aside. saute the chopped onion with the ground meatless sausage and the mionced garlic lightly in a pan coated in non-stick spray and then add to the ground turkey.Add in the chopped onion and peppers, and the celery.take the 4 cubes of beef boullion and place them in a microwaveable container with the 1 cup of vegetable broth, microwave it until the boullion cubes dissolve. Pour into the chili pot too.add the 2 cans of diced tomatoes and the 1 can of tomato pasteadd the hot sauce and the worcestershire sauce and the chili powder, then add all the other seasonings.simmer on medium low heat for as long as you like to get all the flavors working together... the longer the better. You can even throw all this in a slow cooker and let it go all day if you like.this is great if you freeze portions and save for other meals... it is a good meal alone, or as a topping on hot dogs, on baked potatoes, whatever you like!
