What Are The Ingredients For "Make it your own" Chili Recipe?The ingredients for "Make it your own" Chili are: 1 can each: chickpeas, black beans, red kidney beans, diced tomatoes1 c. diced onions 1 c. diced celery 1 green pepper 1 yellow pepper 1 red pepper 1 lb. ground beef or turkey (or leave it out!) 1.5 c. frozen corn 1 lime To taste: cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, cilantro, hot sauce, bbq sauce, hot sauce, maple syrup How Do I Make "Make it your own" Chili?Here is how you make "Make it your own" Chili: Heat a large pot with some extra virgin olive oil. Cook the onions and celery till clear with some salt and pepper and garlic powder. Add in the meat (1 lb. ground beef or turkey). Add the can of tomatoes. Drain the 3 cans of beans and rinse them off. Add the beans. Add in the cumin, chili powder, cayenne, hot sauce, bbq sauce and maple syrup. Use about 1 Tbsp of cumin, 2 Tbsp of chili powder, 1 tsp of cayenne, 2 tsp of garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste. If you want to add more of the spices, do so. Start with about 1 Tbsp of maple sauce and 2 Tbsp of bbq sauce and adjust to taste. Start with 1 tsp of hot sauce and adjust to taste. Add the juice of one lime. Add the 3 diced peppers (green, yellow, red). Add the frozen corn. Let the chili simmer about 15 minutesSprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of your serving!**You can make this without meat at all.
