What Are The Ingredients For Quick Chili Recipe? The ingredients for Quick Chili are: 1 lb. package 93% lean ground turkey1 package fajita seasoning mix (can use taco or your own spice blend) 1 jar your favorite salsa (I use 24 oz Pace Picante - Medium) 1 can black beans (rinsed and drained) (feel free to sub another type of bean) 1 can tomatos (I used 22 oz crushed, but diced works well too - it might be fun to spice it up with a blend of tomato types like fire roasted or one mixed with peppers) How Do I Make Quick Chili? Here is how you make Quick Chili: Lightly spray bottom of large non-stick pot with non-stick cooking spray (Pam or other). Loosely crumble ground turkey into pot and brown throughly adding fajita spice package just before meat is fully cooked to blend.Let meat continue to simmer off any excess water while you open your cans and prepare the remaining ingredients.Pour salsa, rinsed beans, tomatoes into pot and mix with the meat.Reduce heat to low and simmer for at least 20 minutes. I normally use this time to make cornmeal muffins to serve with the chili. My additions (not included in the nutrition calcuations) have been a can of green chilis, tablespoon for each bowl of shredded cheddar cheese. You can add a dallop of sour cream, etc. To give a fresher taste, use fresh salsa and add sliced scallions, green onions, and/or cilantro to the top of each bowl before serving.I normally split this into about 6 bowls of chili (generous portions).Number of Servings: 6Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user SNARKYLEMON.What's The Nutritional Info For Quick Chili? The nutritional information for Quick Chili is:
