Veggie Crumble- any brand is okay, my fav is morning star farms Meal Starter recipe crumbles (frozen in a bag) NOTE- The SP nutritional info is not correct. I entered mine directly from the nutritional info on the package. The whole bag is 6 servings.

Any beans or combination of beans you have in the pantry. My favorites are Pinto and Kidney. I always rinse them.

tomatoes - canned, or fresh peeled and chopped. I like to use Rotel Hot with chilis)

minced garlic - fresh, or jar is best but powder works in a pinch.

Chopped onions - fresh is best but frozen or powder works in a pinch.

Vegetable broth/stock - Fresh or canned. I use canned mostly.

Vegetable oil or spray - just a tad to keep the veggies from sticking.

How Do I Make Versatile Vegetarian Chili?

Here is how you make Versatile Vegetarian Chili:

Saute onions and garlic, in a small amount of oil, until onions are translucent. - If you have a non stick pan cooking spray works good. If not a little bit of oil is better to avoid sticking when you add the veggie crumbles.Add tomatoes. Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors. Add spices according to personal taste and preference. I like a couple tbsp of Chili powder, ground cumin,a dash of salt, cayenne, Add Veggie Crumbles, Beans, and vegetable broth.
