This is a recipe from a fellow Sparker that I changed just a little to suit my families needs. It's only a little different. This is a great recipe because my husband LOVES pork. We often buy the country style ribs when they go on AWESOME sales. However, I am tired of having bbq ribs. I thought this sounded awesome. It's a great way to get him eating healthier and still enjoying his pork at the same time. He also loves German food (especially things with sauerkraut)!!This is a husband pleaser for me!!

2 lbs approx Country Style Ribs
1 lb Baby Red Potatoes, quartered
1 Medium Yellow Onion, chopped
1 can Baby Carrots, drained (or 20 raw)
2 Medium Apples of choice, peeled/sliced
3-4 oz Apple Juice

How Do I Make German Country Style Rib Dinner (my version)?

Here is how you make German Country Style Rib Dinner (my version):

*Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Remove excess fat from the ribs. If large pieces, cut into desired size pieces to make them more like "ribs". (Mine looked more like steaks -lol- so I cut them length & width wise to quarter them.)*Place them in a deep baking dish. Sprinkle with the Natures Season. Turn over and sprinkle other side. Place dish in oven for about 20 minutes, just until the pork starts to cook a little. *Prepare your veggies while the pork is in the oven. Open and drain your cans. *Remove pork from the oven. Layer your veggies. Potatoes first, then onions, then carrots. Pour the apple juice over the veggies and sprinkle with the Natures Season. Layer the apples on top.*Cover with lid or foil. Place in oven for approx 1 hour.**The original called to cook it in the crock pot for 4-6 hours. I had planned ahead to make this but forgot it needed to cooked in the crock pot so I cooked it this way. It might be more tender in the crock pot but this worked fine for me!
