1 pound Ground Turkey meat- 93% lean
1 tbsp Saffron (or Tumeric)
3 cloves of garlic
1 package of Wonton Wrappers (31/2 inch squares)
1 cup fat free plain yogurt.


How Do I Make Low Fat Afghani Mantoo?

Here is how you make Low Fat Afghani Mantoo:

Cook the onions and tomatos on low heat until softened in the olive oil. Salt and Pepper to taste. Finely chop and add the two cloves of garlic, saving one for garnishing later. Add the ground turkey meat and most of the dill weed. Cook until meat is done and then set aside in a large bowl to cool.Lay out the wonton skins and a clean bowl of water. Brush each skin with water and one spoonfull of the turkey filling. Secure all sides of the wonton by lifting up and pressing sides together. Do this for all 50 wontons. Once you get the hang of it, it goes by fast!Place wontons in a steamer and steam for 10 minutes or until dough is soft. Mix the remaining dill, garlic and yogurt together.
