Season and fry the Beef in a little oil and chopped garlic until seared and brown.Chop onions into quaters and spread out in a medium/large baking dish.Pour seared beef into the baking dish and spread out.pour in the tinned tomatoes, chilli, salt & pepper, bay leaf (whole) and some roughly chopped garlic chunks.
