In large pot over medium heat, heat oil & saute onion until almost clear. Add chicken broth and collards. Heat to a boil & then reduce heat to simmer for about 45-50 minutes. Add crushed red pepper flakes, garlic powder, Splenda. Stir well. Simmer another 5 minutes. Taste and salt & pepper if needed.
