1 green or red bell pepper, chopped
1/2 lb smoked sausage, quartered and sliced

1 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
4 tsp minced garlic
2 cups rice (Uncle Ben's Original Parboiled Long Grain)
3 tsp chicken boullion granules
6 cups water


How Do I Make Jer's Jambalaya?

Here is how you make Jer's Jambalaya:

Heat oil in large saucepan on medium heat, then add onion, bell pepper and sausage. Saute until onions are translucent and sausage is crisp. Add chicken and saute until lightly browned. Add garlic, thyme, pepper and rice. Cook briefly to fry rice briefly, then add water and boullion. Bring to a boil then reduce heat to medium for 20-30 minutes until water is completely soaked up, stirring frequently.
