3 green onions, green tops sliced

8 oz. beef smoked sausage

Here is how you make Nicole's YUMMY Jambalaya:

Saute onion and bell pepper in oil until translucent.Add garlic, saute brieflyAdd sauce, broth, salt and peppers. Add rice.Bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer. Cover tightly and simmer until rice is fluffy. (This usually takes me about an hour. I check it about every 20 minutes or so and if I feel like too much liquid has cooked out I will add a can of water.)Stir in shrimp, sausage, parsley and green onion tops.
