14 oz butterball turkey kielbasa or any lean sausage
cajun spice to taste/coat meat
6 cloves garlic minced
2 green bell peppers chopped
1 large onion chopped
4 stalks celery diced
28 oz can diced tomatos
2 tsp red pepper - cayenne
2 tsp black pepper
6 t Red Hot Sauce
2 tsp file powder
0ne box of Zatarains Jambalaya Mix
Extra 1/2 cup long grain brown rice (optional)
4 cups 99% fat free chicken broth


How Do I Make Spicey Jambalaya?

Here is how you make Spicey Jambalaya:

Coat cut meat with cajun spice. Using one tablespoon grapeseed (or any healthy) oil brown meat in dutch pot for about 10 minutes. Set aside leaving juices in pot. Add garlic, peppers, onion and celery and sautee in juices until soft then add canned tomato, spices, and file powder. Add meat back and cook additional 10 minutes. Last add Zatarains Jambalaya mix and rice, add broth, bring to simmer and let cook additional 25 minutes or until rice is cooked.
