What Are The Ingredients For Lentil bobotie Recipe?

The ingredients for Lentil bobotie are:

Base:

2 cups brown lentils
3 slices rye bread
1 cup light soy milk
2 brown onions
6 cloves garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp turmeric
400gr tin tomatoes
3 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp chutney
2 tbsp mild curry paste
2 tbsp sultanas
pepper and salt to taste

Topping:

1 tbsp nutritional yeast
2 tbsp tahini
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp soy sauce

1. Cover lentils with water ad cook 30 mins
2. Cut bread into cubes and soak in soy milk in baking dish
3. Finely chop onions and garlic and cook in frying pan in the oil
4. Add turmeric and cook for a minute. Add the remaining ingredients and mix in baking dish and flatten.
5. Mix the topping ingredients and spread over the surface.

bake for an hour at 150 C / 300 F
