How Do I Make Meat Pastizzi?

Here is how you make Meat Pastizzi:

In a large skillet, saute onion and garlic in olive oil until the onion becomes translucent, usually between 5 and 10 min. Add ground beef and continue to simmer until the meat is no longer pink. Remove from heat. Drain off and discard excess fat. Return to heat. Add tomato paste, parsley and salt and pepper to taste. Cover with water or stock. Simmer for another 15 to 20 min. Mix well and then add the peas. Simmer for another 10 to 15 min or until the peas are soft. Remove from heat. On a well floured board roll out pastizzi dough as thin as possible. With a biscuit or pastry cutter cut the dough into 3-4 in circles. Put one tablespoon of the meat mixture in the middle of each circle. Fold each circle from the top and the bottom to the center and squeeze the edges together.Bake for approximately 45 min to one hour or until the pastizzi turn golden brown.
