What Are The Ingredients For Swedish Meatballs Recipe?The ingredients for Swedish Meatballs are: 1 lb ground turkey1/2 c whole wheat bread crumbs 1/2 c chopped onion 1/8 tsp nutmeg 1 tbsp finely minced garlic 1/4 c chopped parsley 1 egg 1/2 tsp ground black pepper 1 c beef broth 1 c water 2 tbsp red wine 1 3/4 c plain unsweetened almond milk 1/4 c organic half and half 1 tbsp natural white flour How Do I Make Swedish Meatballs?Here is how you make Swedish Meatballs: Combine meat, onion, garlic, parsley, 1/2 c almond milk, nutmeg and egg in large bowl. Add bread crumbs and form meat into balls (whatever size you prefer).Preheat oven to 350. In the meantime, bring beef broth and water to a simmer in large saute pan. Place meatballs in broth and steam until done. Reserve all pan drippings (about 1/2 c - 1 c of liquid). Bake meatballs in oven until browned. To make sauce, add flour, pepper and red wine to pan drippings and bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Slowly add half and half and remaining almond milk and stir until thickened.Remove meatballs from oven and place into sauce. Allow to cook another 5 or so minutes.
