Garlic, minced 1.5 Sweet Red Bell Peppers, ribbon sliced 1 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil 4 oz. Dry Red Wine .25 cup Parsley, fresh, chopped .125 tsp. Thyme, ground .5 tsp. Oregano, dried .5 tsp Red Pepper Flakes 1 tsp. Fennel Seeds 2.5 tbsp Parmesan Cheese, grated How Do I Make Pasta L'Arrabiatta?Here is how you make Pasta L'Arrabiatta: 1. Place sausage in large soup pot. Add .5 inch water. Cover and steam over medium high heat until water is gone. Lid should be loose.2. Once liquid is gone, brown sausage links. Remove from pot and set aside on paper towel-covered plate. Slice thinly and set back on paper towels.3. Drain fat from pot. Add olive oil. When it is hot, add onions. Cook over medium low heat for 5 to 10 minutes with lid on. When onions are slightly carmelized, add bell peppers. Cook about 5 minutes. When peppers are bright red and just a bit limp, add garlic. Cook 30 seconds. 4. Add canned tomatoes, wine, thyme, oretano, fennel, pepper flakes, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Put sausages back in pot; reduce heat and simmer 15 to 45 minutes. Longer simmering equals more flavor.5. A few minutes before serving, add parsley.6. Serve over penne or bow tie pasta.
