1 cup peas
1 red bell pepper
1/2 onion
1/2 container Artichoke Lemon Pesto from Trader Joes (or 1 jar of pureed artichoke hearts including oil, garlic, pinch of parmesan cheese, and the juice and zest of 1/2 a lemon)
1/2 package of brown rice pasta from Trader Joe's (or any other kind of whole grain pasta).


How Do I Make Crab Chowder Pasta?

Here is how you make Crab Chowder Pasta:

Cook pasta according to package instructions.Saute onion and red pepper together until glassy, then add the corn and peas and stir. After the veggies have all heated up, add the artichoke pesto and toss. Then add the (pre-cooked) crab meat or imitation crab meat and toss - take off the stove once the crab has heated through. If you'd like to make the finished product more "chowdery" you can add some milk and cream cheese to the veggies rather than the artichoke pesto.
