In a medium saute pan heat olive oil and garlic together over medium-high heat until garlic is browned. This must be constatnly stirred while garlic is browning. Once garlic is browned add shrimp, salt, pepper and crushed red pepper. Saute for about 1-2 minutes. Add white wine, fresh basil. Cook over high heat until shrimp are cooked. Add cooked and heated linguine to saute pan, and toss well with shrimp mixture and extra virgin olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Place in past bown and drizzle small amount of olive oil over the top. Garnish with a fresh basil flower.

Note: Correctly browning the slivered garlic is a very important step in this dish because all the flavor comes from teh garlic. Be careful to brown the garlic, not burn it. If any of the garlic is burned it will make teh dish bitter/
