2 1/2 cups bread flour (or 3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour)
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup olive oil


How Do I Make Deep Dish Pizza Crust?

Here is how you make Deep Dish Pizza Crust:

Makes 8 one slice servingsPour the warm water into mixing bowl and add yeast. Allow yeast to dissolve for 5 minutes. Add oil, 1 cup flour, cornmeal, and salt. Mix. Add rest of flour while stirring. When dough pulls away from bowl, transfer to clean surface and knead flour in til no longer sticky. Place dough in oiled bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let rise in warm place til doubled in size (1-2 hours). Punch down and let rest 10 minutes. Press dough into oiled deep dish pizza pan. Form sides about 2 inches up pan. Let rise another 15 minutes.
