4-4 to 6 oz center cut pork chops, trimmed of all fat
1 large onion
5 MacIntosh Apples cored and quartered
1 large head of cabbage
20 oz DARK beer (Guiness would be good)
2 Tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
Salt, pepper and a dash of cinnamon

Here is how you make Autumn Pork Chops:

Place the oil in a hot skillet, season the pork chops with a small sprinkle of cinnamon and salt and pepper, place the chops in the pan and begin to brown them.In the meantime cut the onion into wedges, add the onion, quartered and cored apples and half the head of cabbage, roughly chopped to the crockpot. Flip the chops and brown on the other side. When nicely browned put the chops over the items in the crock, put the skillet back on the stove and carefully pour the beer into the skillet. Use a wooden spoon to scrape all the yummy bits off the bottom of the skillet. Let this come up to a simmer.Put the other half of the chopped cabbage over the pork chops and take the simmered beer and pour it over the whole thing.
