Place onions in the bottom of slow cooker. Then placed trimmed pork shoulder into slow cooker. You can do this and then leave the core of the cooker in frig over night. In the morning or after placing the shoulder in to the core, pour 1/4 cup of the sauce and water into the core.It'll take 6-10 hours depending on setting. You may need to add more water, while cooking.Once it is done in the cooker, take out the shoulder. Allow to cool. Then pull the pork apart and place into a casserole dish. If you like dryer pork, place pork into the over at 350 degrees for as long as desired.
