1 large Onion, diced
3 stalks Celery, chopped
1 cup Green Peppers (bell peppers), in strips
1 stalk Broccoli, chopped
1/2 cup water chestnuts, slices
1 cup Mushrooms, canned,
1/2 cup Bamboo shoots, canned
1 package (10 oz) Mixed Vegetables, frozen
1 cup Bean sprouts
4 cups Brown Rice, cooked


How Do I Make Rice is Nice?

Here is how you make Rice is Nice:

In large dutch oven over medium heat, brown ground beef with onion and celery, stirring to separate meat. When meat is cooked, drain off excess fat and add green peppers,broccoli, water chestnuts, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and mixed frozen vegetables. Continue cooking over medium heat until vegetables are almost tender-crisp. Add bean sprouts, spreading them over the top to steam. Cover and let cook for several minutes. Remove cover, stir, and let cook five minutes more until vegetables are desired tenderness. Serve over rice.
