2 tbsp onions, chopped
1 tsp taco seasoning (more if desired)
1/2 cup black beans
1/2 cup romaine (more if desired)

Here is how you make Flank Steak with Black Beans and Brown Rice:

Put paprika, 2 garlic cloves, and soy sauce on flank steak. Grill or bake the steak until it is to your liking. Cook the rice according to package. In small saucepan heat the oil. Add onions and garlic and saute. Sprinkle with taco seasoning and cook for a few seconds. Stir in beans and chicken broth. Cook until most of the liquid is absorbed. Add the rice to the beans.On your plate put the romaine lettuce. Then the beans and rice. Top with steak. We add salsa fresca too and sometimes sour cream.
