Makes 5 1-cup servingsIn large pot cook hamburger, onions until no longer red. Add Bacon, garlic and spices and cook until bacon is done, about 5 minutes. Stir often so not to stick to bottom of pot. Add red beans, chicken broth, water, and salt and pepper to taste.
